Flying a drone at Neuschwanstein Castle in Hohenschwangau is difficult. The castle is prohibiting aerial fotography over the castle grounds. Behind the castle is a nature protection area and the castle is towering more than 120 meters above the surrounding fields where drone-flights are permitted.
A great alternative for a view from above is to join the instructors at Flugschule Tegelberg to go Paragliding. We joined Manuel and Tim from Flugschule Tegelberg (https://flugschule-tegelberg.de/) for a flight.
The experience is not cheap, but it will give you incredible views over the mountains, the colors of the alpine lakes and the castles of Hohenschwangau.
