Before disconnecting the semi-trailer, make sure the ground is suitable and that the semi-trailer’s support legs won’t sink into the soil. Next, apply the handbrake on the truck and turn off the engine. Put on a high-visibility safety vest and exit the cab. Then, turn on the handbrake on the semi-trailer.
Lower the support legs, then move toward the release mechanism. After that, disconnect the coupling mechanism. Return to the cab, start the engine, and use the control panel to lift the semi-trailer. Then return to the semi-trailer and lower the support legs to the ground.
Go back into the cab and drive forward 30 cm. Use the control panel to lower the truck. Drive another 50 cm forward to create space for disconnecting the cables. Apply the handbrake and turn off the engine. Disconnect the cables from the semi-trailer and store them in the designated compartments.
