I've dealt with years of ridicule and hate, but 2016 was the year I was actually okay with hurting myself. Therapy wasn't helping, friends I'd share info with were fake, family didn't understand... I was just hopeless. If it wasn't for my 8th grade music teacher Ms. Tarr telling me about the cadence of my words, or even my middle school counselor Ms. Wilder for handing me my first journal, who knows how much worse it could have been?
Whenever I was hurting, I'd write how I felt. I learned to channel my pain into poetry. I want to explain it in interviews but the depression can be seen as low-key by outsiders looking in. I was severely damaged prior to shooting the final scenes to the vid but I just went through with it. So much was on my mind -- which is a everyday thing -- but a lot of people tell me I made a classic with this one 💯.
