September 2016: Testing of a small solid-propellant rocket motor. This was the very first test of this small-scale SRM on the test stand. After a full development at small-scale, it was initially planned to design in a second step a full-scale 40 kN thrust SRM that was intended to be installed on a totally new and crazy fast rocket-propelled bicycle capable of a spine crushing acceleration. Unfortunately, the development cost was too high and the project was therefore abandoned. We decided to switch to a more reasonable option which will be a bipropellant liquid-fuel rocket engine. Nonetheless, due to the cost of the complete propulsion unit, the technical development is always delayed and far from completed.
