Trek To Bijli Mahadev, Hiking Through The Mountains of Himalayas
The Bijli Mahadev temple is located at an altitude of about 2,438 m in the Kullu Valley. Bijli Mahadev is Lord Shiva's temple, and it is one of the excellent temples in India. Lightning incidents occur here about once every decade.
I had an amazing experience while trekking to this mountain. Located 14 km from Kullu, it can be approached by a difficult but rewarding trek of 3 km. It is a very beautiful hiking spot in Kullu. We had to trek on this mountain during the winter when there was lots of snow.
The whole mountain was covered by the white snow. It was a 3 km long trekking distance from the beginning. In winter, you have to face little challenges during the trek, like gliding, due to snow. But it's such an amazing trekking experience. You will enjoy the snow-covered mountains and the views of the plaintiffs during trekking.
We were five friends who went on the trek to Bijli Mahadev temple.
