Install Docker CE Engine on 64Bit Version!
I’m using Docker CE on my Debian Bookworm Raspberry Pi because it’s the officially maintained Docker build, not the repackaged docker.io version from the Debian repos. Docker CE usually ships newer features, bug fixes and security updates faster, and its behavior matches the official Docker documentation and examples.
On a small device like a Raspberry Pi, I want a consistent Docker experience across machines (PC, server, Pi), so using Docker CE from Docker’s own repository is more reliable long term than relying on the older docker.io package.
This Video was created on RaspberryPI Debian Bookworm OS (64Bit) and the installation may not work on older models running Debian 11 or earlier. This Video does not show an all-round setup for all models.
