How to Fix 100% Cpu usage and stuttering in GTA 5 - April 2020
this short tutorial will show you how to fix the 100% cpu usage and stuttering on GTA 5. If you have a discrete gpu and you still see lag and stuttering.... the problem is not your pc, the problem is the game.
This fix is for N.vidia GPU users, but it can be done also for amd users.
Open your N.vidia control panel, click on the program setting tab and select the Gta5 application from the list. If you don't see the application just add it.
The fix is very simple. Scroll the setting list and find the... "Max Frame Rate" option.
Turn the max frame rate option on. and set it to equal your monitor refresh rate.
Inside the game graphic setting leave the V.sync option off.
That's all.
Now. your cpu usage will be lower, preventing lag, stuttering and drop of fps.
