Chocolate Reaper Pepper - Pepper Pthursday
On this Pepper Pthursday we take a look at the spicy Chocolate Reaper Pepper plant. Capable of producing pods that range between 1 and 2 million Scoville Heat Units, its a favorite of ours due to the extra sweetness and somewhat cinnamon-y notes that you get instead of just the raw power and pain of a typical Carolina Reaper. Don't get us wrong, it's still plenty painful, but the brown color and more smooth tail make it look just a little less menacing.
