So two or three friends joined IHBC (International House Business College) at that time, and they shared their experiences about that, which was very good. “Their subject content is very good. These are the courses available and the famous ones are leadership management and project management.”
But when I checked their website and the course contents, I saw there was a part for social media marketing. Of course. I just wanted to know about that. This is the future. That is the future of marketing. Actually, I didn't have a very good idea about social media marketing at that time.
We know how to post something on Facebook and things, but not have very good knowledge. Then, of course, I chose IHBC. It's very close to my place, and they have online lectures as well because I'm working as a full-time (employee) and everything is reasonable. And then of course I join them for the diploma program.

During my internship with InternMatch and my company together, because we both helped each other, I learned the first main thing. I learned about Facebook advertising. How to do the schedule, the advertising, how to make the proper post, how to schedule it on time and how to select the audience as well.
At the same time, we have posted together on Facebook and Instagram, with the same content, with different designs. Sometimes we depend on the videos and video content and we have done email campaigns as well. Email marketing as well, because most of the clients are Asians especially and they are not in this country and are from overseas. They are very good at email marketing and we can easily catch up with them rather than calling them.
So we have done some email campaigns as well. The main thing is TikTok. This is very new to this thing (social media) because it's not familiar (previously), it's very familiar in this (present) day during last year and this year. And we have designed content, what kind of content we have to go through.
Not the same as what the other people are doing on the migration agent, we have to do something different. Then we created, we checked most of the profiles of who's doing the migrations and the visa support agents, and we got some content and ideas throughout. And with my learning, we have come up with the summary and we are just going to launch it in the near future.
What was your experience like at KBA Global?
My CEO said, ”I want to share and I want to come to the marketing meeting and share the ideas and the knowledge.” And he was very happy to help me and my manager, Maria, she was always encouraging me and that was a very good sign. And this was a very good opportunity for me because this is the first time actually in my life I was getting an internship like this.
What were your key takeaways from this experience?
So of course we could share ideas. And actually, I'm thankful for this opportunity. At the same time (as my internship) our company's 10th anniversary came, and we had to do some event management. I was able to get knowledge about how to manage the event, and how to coordinate the event.
We have to make the plays and we have to make all the arrangements, what other things we are doing, not only about social media but also for the marketing aspect as well. How to do event marketing, event management coordination, and how to deal with the people and in this country it's a very, very, very good experience for me.
The whole experience was more amazing than I expected.
