Hi everyone, hope you all are good. I've prepared Qiwami Sewai and Shuabiyaat for today's vlog.
I did not measure exactly the amount but I'll describe what I've used in the dish.
For Qiwami Sewai, I roasted sewai in some ghee. In another pan, prepare sugar syrup and put 2-3 tbsp milk. When sewai are roasted, put sugar syrup into it and cook until it gets soft. when they're soft put khoya and mix everything well (I've prepared khoya at home).
Shuabiyaat is semolina filled puff pastry. I've bought puff pastry online. For the filling, in a pan put some ghee and roast semolina (suji) until it produces an aroma. Then put milk and sugar and cook until it thickens a bit (I also put some milk powder along with the milk as it gives smooth texture). Take it out in a bowl and let it cool, when it cools down cut the puff pastry into desirable shape and fill with semolina filling and seal it properly then egg wash them. Now pre heat oven at 180 C and bake them for about 15-20 mins or until golden brown.
