In this class, we'll review how fractions are converted to mixed numbers. We'll start this video by reviewing the terms of a fraction: numerator and denominator. We'll also review improper fractions.
Then I'll show you how to do the conversion. To do this, divide the numerator by the denominator. We'll look at a couple of different ways to do this division: first simply and then using division as a grouping method.
In the second exercise, we'll perform the conversion first simply and then graphically, using our chocolates.
