Every time I promise myself that this time I'll explain the story explicitly, and then each time my brain turns to mush. Sorry about that.
It's a Magical Girl AU more based in Madoka than other magical girl rules (so trading your soul/etc. for a wish and then overwhelming despair turning you into the monsters you're fighting) with a lot of inspiration drawn from the third movie, Rebellion.
