Legal careers for non-law graduates
This session is a panel comprising an associate and a trainee solicitor at Clifford Chance who are alumni of Cambridge who did not study law. The session is designed to demonstrate how non-law degrees can be applied to a career in law, and how often non-law degrees are encouraged to consider a career in law. The speakers reflect on their personal experiences of why they decided to go into law, as well as how they experienced converting and now working in law. It showcases the different pathways people may take before settling on a career in law, and the benefits of this nonconventional approach into the sector.
