On day 1 we talked about watercolor basics and some very useful and creative techniques that you can use in your paintings. First we reviewed color consistencies and the combination of colors. Then we moved to using some material everyone can find in their home to create beautiful patterns and textures in your paintings. Attendees learned how to use plastic wrap, paper towel, sponge, salt, and water droplets to create different textures. Then we used a straw and by blowing in it we made some beautiful patterns in our painting. These are the techniques we regularly use in our weekly online classes and students love them a lot.
