An Electro-Pop mashup of Modest Mouse lyrics and melodies
I started writing an electronic instrumental track last year and ended up singing some Modest Mouse lyrics over it. I went back and fixed some of the sounds in the original mix, and did a live vocal recording for this video. I did put in a few overdubs for harmonies and parts where I included overlapping vocals. This was just something I did for fun .. I might perform the song at an upcoming event downtown where I live. The track contains lyrics and melodies from the songs "People as Places as People", "Trucker's Atlas", "Florida", "Summer", and "Ocean Breathes Salty". I wrote the instrumental using the software Reason Studios 11.
