The GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) -vs- Photoshop, for real end users
The Internet says the GIMP is not a Photoshop replacement. I disagree, with caveats. For almost anyone who does not get paid to manipulate images, the GIMP is overkill of a delightful variety. I have almost 3Gb of images that were "mistakes" in GIMP, saved off just because they were so pleasant to look at. Anyone reserve gimpfuckups.com yet?
