How to make Proxmox VLAN aware?
In this video we will discuss how to configure vlans on Proxmox server.
That vlan configuration ( also known as linux bridge tagging ) will let you move proxmox management ip to separate secure vlan, you will see how to place Proxmox VM or LXC container in specific / different subnet, how dot1q tag is received on Proxmox (How proxmox handles vlan tags) and we will discuss some Linux containers and virtual machines networking.
Please note - towards the end of the video I assigned ip address of 10.30.30.88/24 to my LXC container, but that ip has already been assigned to vlan interface - that was my mistake - you should change that to any other ip in that network that hasn't been assigned yet!
