Making a color-changing label for a gauge chart wo VBA in Microsoft Excel

To add a label to a gauge or speedometer chart that changes color without using Visual Basic for Applications in Microsoft Excel you will need three textboxes (or more depending on the number of colors you would like to have) and cells with formulas that only show a value if a condition is met and otherwise stay empty. The conditions should be specified so, that only one of the cells shows a value. Format the text boxes. They should be transparent (no fill) and the displayed values should each be in a different color. Link the text boxes to the cells with formulas by selecting each text box and in the formula bar typing an equal sign followed by a cell reference. Then arrange the text boxes on top of one another and remove the border.
