Motohiro Kawashima - Escape the Cage
This one is really meaningful to me. Kawashima-san is surely one of my greatest inspiration in music, a legend of my childhood. Not only he composed, along with another VGM legend, Yūzō Koshiro, the music for three opus of my favorite video game serie : Streets of Rage (ベア・ナックル) but also worked on many other great projects and never disappointed his faithful listeners from all-around the world. 『Prepared Wave』LP is one of these projects and it just came out after one year after the beginning of COVID breakdown & lockdown, what Kawashima-san called the "2020's tunnel". Since we met in London, more than 3 years ago, during a nostalgic VGM live performance called 'Diggin' in the cards', we became friends and corresponded on the internet and shared to each other our new music projects, every now and then. We met again in Tōkyō but also in Paris since then. When all this worldwide craziness will come to an end, I can't help but hoping to compose a track together. こんごともよろしく、基宏さん！
