Dr Stephen Hall, The End of Belarusian Adaptive Autocracy?
This is the Annual London Lecture on Belarusian Studies delivered in 2024 by Dr Stephen Hall at the University College London.
UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies, the Ostrogorski Centre and the Francis Skaryna Belarusian Library and Museum organised the 9th Annual ‘Belarusian Studies in the 21st Century.’ The conference took place on 26–27 April 2024 in the hybrid format.
The conference serves as a multidisciplinary forum for Belarusian studies in the West and offers a rare networking opportunity for researchers of Belarus.
The organising committee included Prof Yarik Kryvoi (co-chair), Prof Andrew Wilson (co-chair), Dr Alena Marková, Peter Braga, and Dr Karalina Matskievich.
