The Impending Threat: How Global Warming Could Trigger New Fungal Diseases
It turns out that the reason most people don't worry about fungal diseases is because you have tremendous resistance to them and that's because your temperature keeps out most of the fungal species. But what would happen if the fungi adapt and they're going to have to adapt with global warming. But if they jump over it then we're going to see new fungal diseases and this may be the canary in the coal mine.
