Transferring an #iMovie Project file to another computer or person to continue to edit it #Tutorial
Hello Guys! Welcome to another short iMovie tutorial. Today I shall show you how to transfer an iMovie project from an iMovie library so that you can use that project file on another computer or you can share that project file with another member of your team or a collaborator of a project.
As you all know that iMovie libraries can become huge very quickly. They can be many GB in size as they contain your events and those event contain projects which in-turn can contain many assets like video files, photographs, music files and logos etc.
Sometimes we need to transfer just one single project so that you can continue to edit it on another computer or you can share it with a team member or a collaborator. Today I’ll show you a simple method of doing exactly.
First step is to make a new library. It can be on your desktop, another folder or better still an external hard drive. For the purpose of this tutorial, I’ll create one on my desktop.
