The Runes: Mannaz - Man
*Mannaz, Mann or Mathr is the twentieth rune of the Elder Futhark and Futhorc. It's the fourteenth of the Younger Futhark. Its name means man or human. The three poems link it to the concept of sociability - spending time in the company of nice people. But they also link it to the creation of man from dust in the Bible.
