So after reuniting with Akilah near outskirts of the magenta fields we decide to use our DJI Mavic to tried to record the black forest and maybe get a shot at what is in the center of the forest but unfortunately a few minutes that the drone was hovering above the forest it was shot into the ground the camera was still active but we only saw a silhouette before the fed cut off. so after a few minutes of debating with Akilah on what to do and we only came with 2 options: 1. enter the forest and try to recover the drone so we can salvage some of the footage. 2 cut our losses and try another way to get the footage Akilah needed. neither of us could decided which to chose so we let fate decide by head or tails and ended on head... so we had to go in... but before that we make sure to investigate what is know about the forest and armed armed ourselves... even if neither of us have a licenses for firearms so we settle with 2 flare guns , 2 multitools , food and water reserves, flashlights and finally some hammers. unfortunately the only way to get in the forest is in midnight as apparently is more "safe" as the more aggressive inhabitants hunt in the "day" (note: in the forest no matter what time of day is the place is surrounded by trees that block all sunlight and make it hard to know the time of day) the only good thing that we knew the location of the drone, the travel was nerve wrecking having constantly the felling of being watched and followed but we manage to the drone which was completely wreck and hang on a tree near a corpse with a bunch of pipes incrusted in the torso... so yeah... but before we did anything i asked Akilah to stand ready with the hammer if the corpse moves, and so i tried to untangle the drone and got it, but before i back away the FUCKING TREE yank my hand and began to twist it and at the same time the corpse like a goddam began to sound like a WAR HORN witch Akilah shamed with his hammer and help me on cutting the branch that at this point have twisted my right arm before being cut off and with that we ran as we saw that something was chasing us but we manage to lose it when we light a tree with a flare as it appear that the thing chasing us stopped to try and stop the flames from spreading, after a few hours we get out of the forest but i wasn't in the best condition due to blood lost but Akilah manage to make a makeshift cast before i collapse unconscious.) -Geo
