Ukrainians from Nikopol hiding from shelling in the shelter
The city of Nikopol in southern Ukraine suffers regular shelling by Russian forces just across the Dnieper River. "The residents of Nikopol endure shelling in the evenings and at night. Almost every day, Nikopol suffers," says one resident from Nikopol.
We have long supported the people of Nikopol. And thanks to financial support from the European Union and other donors, we have already distributed construction materials for quick repairs, portable gas stoves, heaters, food, and hygiene products to residents.
During our last visit to the city, we visited the shelter at the city art school. Come see how Ukrainians must live their lives in a place where air raid sirens are almost nonstop.
