Securing Water Access in Ukraine
In Ukraine, even before the war, access to water supply in many towns and villages was challenging. The conflict has exacerbated this issue, with shelling causing significant damage to infrastructure and frequent power outages worsening the situation.
Despite this, we remain committed to supporting communities. We are ensuring access to water. With funds from the European Union and the Czech people, we distribute water tanks and equip water utilities with modern equipment to improve reliability and efficiency.
“This equipment will help us in our work: to supply water to the population, to save electricity and to ensure a stable hydraulic regime in the networks,” says Ruslan Buka, Head of the Operations Department at Zaporizhzhia Water Utility Company.
