Cobra Mk IV - Mining Build Guide - Elite Dangerous
Greetings Commanders,
This is one of my favourite beginner mining ships.
The Cobra Mk IV in my opinion is probably the best mining ship for beginners, it's cheap enough to buy, has good hardpoint options as well as good optional internals.
Unfortunately, it's not available to all Commanders! :(
This ship build will give the tools to practice all the aspects that mining has to offer, whilst being able to carry 32 tons of cargo to make good Credits. :)
Some Commanders, later end up specialising in just 'Deep Core' while others in the old school 'Surface Mining', whichever you find more fun! :)
Once you make enough money with this ship and grow in confidence, you can then buy an even better ship for mining, like the Imperial Clipper or Python!
