Mandalay - Exploration Build Guide - Elite Dangerous Odyssey
Greetings Commanders,
This is arguably now the best Exploration ship in the game!
The Asp Explorer used to be 'the go to' mid sized ship for most explorers, then the Krait Phantom came out....but now we have the Mandalay!
Whilst a mid size ship like the Asp and the Phantom, the Mandalay, both is and feels smaller. Its narrow landing gear footprint makes it easier to land too.
The ship has been built with my best modules, and she will require some heavy engineering as shown in the video. Some modules like the anti corrosion cargo rack are great for collecting AX stuff and can be swapped out for a standard one of course if that doesn't suit your play style.
You will need to power down your AMFU's when not in use!
With this ship you can go anywhere in the Galaxy, just watch out for High G planets!! This build is not very tuff as jump range has been prioritised over survivability!!
