MI.LA, Maxxim - Nishati (Songuara Tales)
Songuara is back, baby! We’d missed these guys. Out now on Songuara Tales is label boss Maxxim joining MI.LA for quite the ethnic-sounding track, ‘Nishati‘. If you’ve never heard the work of these two, boy are you in for a treat. Organic House at its finest, and this time with that extra kick of tension, aka lacking claps on beats two and four.
‘Nishati’ is written on an unconventional scale, giving it the Middle Eastern treatment. Add to that the incredible percussion, the flutes, and all those little pieces of ear candy, and you have yourself quite the dancefloor rocker. Carrying the essence of Afro House over to its brother genre, this experiment couldn’t have gone better.
