I thrifted this floral metal wall piece about a year ago, and it is time to do something with it! Let's DIY some garden, home decor!
I started with a plastic green flower pot! It needed a makeover, badly. I washed it up and then painted it with Rustoleum Stone spray. I wanted to give it some texture before spray painting it black.
I used a metal blade on the Dremel to cut the metal flowers off of the frame where they were welded on. From there I attached them to dowel rods, that I painted black, with some floral wire. I ended up painting two of the flowers with acrylic paint and sprayed all of them with a clear coat.
I added plastic bags to the bottom of the pot for volume, added the soil back in and then topped it with some glass beads I had on hand. I picked more up from Dollar Tree, along with a solar light. I also grabbed a cute metal frog from Dollar General! I placed everything in the pot and I LOVE how it turned out!
