Creating Standing Waves
This animation illustrates the creation of standing wave patterns. The first four wave patterns are shown in increasing order of frequency. The relationship between frequency (how fast the waves "wiggle" in time) and wavelength (the width of the "loops" along the slinky) is demonstrated.
