Renewable technologies - Wind Power
In Nestlé UK & Ireland, all of our grid supplied electricity is already 100% renewable and has been since 2016. This new wind farm at Sanquhar in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland creates additional, sustainable capacity.
Each year, enough electricity to power 30,000 homes will be delivered back to the National Grid from this wind farm, meaning that Nestlé is now contributing directly to the de-carbonising of the UK and Ireland’s electricity supply.
