Here we see the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, training Aikido with a child. Aikido is often said to be a great martial art for children and women. Not intending to disrespect anyone, but as men usually focus a lot more on strength and if they can not execute a technique, they tend to force the opponent, even though we tend to not call our partners that, into submission. Women and children, because they are not as strong as men, tend to focus much more on the technique and can have a better understanding of it in the end, so their disadvantage in strength becomes their greatest advantage in learning and understanding aikido.
