A dynamic pivot chart title is an elegant way to show the slicer (filter) selections. The chart in the video is a doughnut pivot chart with two slicers and a circle behind it. The first option is to place the fields that will be displayed in the title into the legend (series) area (if the Field List is not displayed when selecting the pivot chart, then please select it on the PivotChart Tools/Analyze tab) and just add the chart title. The second option is to place the fields that should be displayed in the title into the filters area and then concatenate the cells showing the filter selections with a space and function CHAR() of number 10 (line separator). Then link the circle, which will be behind the pivot chart, to the cell with the formula by selecting the shape and typing an equal sing and the cell reference in the formula bar. As soon as the slicer selection changes, so will the title.
To place the circle behind the pivot chart (if necessary) please select Send Backward on the Drawing Tools/Format tab, which activates after the shape is selected.
To add a slicer to the pivot chart, select the chart and on the PivotChart Tools/Analyze tab click Insert Slicer.
