This unusual gel may be combined with fragrance compounds to produce DIY air fresheners. The gel melts at just 70°C so can easily and safely be poured into a mould. Colour it when molten by adding wax dye and fragrance it with aromatherapy oils. The correct mixture requires experimentation. If too much oil is added the gel will not set. If not enough oil is added there will be too little scent to permeate the atmosphere.
