High ISO Noise: Is It Really That Bad?
Lots of people out there make a big deal about the digital noise created by high ISO settings. I'm here to tell you that high ISO noise isn't as big of a deal as some would make it seem. Sure, higher ISO settings on your digital camera will result in more noise than lower ISO settings. And sure, that noise will definitely be noticeable when viewing the image at 100% magnification on the computer. But is that a realistic analysis of the image? How big will the image really be printed? Are you going to print it at all?
