Today’s morning cardio was a 30 minute run immediately followed by a 45-minute session on the Assault bike.
10 minute warm-up at 55rpm.
After warm-up, a 35 minute working set in the low 60s for 2 minutes followed by 30 seconds at 75-77 repeating for a total of 35 minutes.
The idea is that once you are finished the 30 seconds at 75-77, you don’t let it drop below 60 as you try to catch your breath and recover.
The workout is intentionally designed not to be that hard rather it is a session to work on endurance and muscle strength. That is why you saw me venture to the mid-80s because your body still has more left but the point is not to go to complete exhaustion.
Stay hard!
