The cross-sector network Yarra Mental Health Alliance brought together consumer, carer and service providers to explore and discuss different perspectives when considering sharing information at a forum in March 2020. The presentations in this video are offered in the spirit of collaboration and openness. They do not constitute official or legal positions and do not replace the need for legal advice or organisational policy in specific circumstances.
This video shares insight from a legal, lived experience and practice perspective about how to best approach information sharing within and across sectors in a way that maintains client safety and confidentiality, organisational risk and a level of compassion and dignity for all involved.
