Air Force Ventures 'Ask Me Anything' w/Dr. Will Roper
Dr. Will Roper, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, is eager to talk with you on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 2:30 PM EDT on the accelerating pace of technology and how the Department of the Air Force is scaling the cutting-edge AFVentures acquisition model—opening the door for new industry partners, startups, and scale-ups for nontraditional dual-use tech opportunities. AFWERX 2.0 is taking this to the next level and putting leading tech in our warfighter hands at a speed never before seen.
With over ~80 percent of our Nation’s research and development occurring in the commercial sector, we must fully change from the old “Cold War” acquisition model to compete in the future—AFVentures harnesses all of America’s innovation power for the next battlefield. This virtual Ask-Me-Anything (90 minutes) will be open to all stakeholders throughout commercial and defense industries, venture capital firms, Congress, media, DoD, and the public. Dr. Roper is looking forward to the discussion!
