Budget Monitoring (Format Guide)
This tool will help you monitor the expenses of the project. This has also a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to conclude if the budget you created was accurate or this will determine if it is at risk due to cost overruns.
Excel formulas used in Budget Monitoring:
To Date Expense
=SUMIF('Expenses Tab'!$I:$I,'Budget Monitoring'!$A7,'Expenses Tab'!$G:$G)
Variance (Budget vs. Expense)
=F7-G7
Remaining (%)
=$H7/$F7
