Luck (2022) Full Animated Movie Explained
Sam Greenfield is very unlucky. She has fallen out of the foster care system and must live on her own, where a number of misfortunes befall her. That changes when she comes across what appears to be a lucky black cat named Bob, who leaves behind a lucky penny that Sam picks up. This cat leaves behind a lucky penny, which Sam grabs. It briefly brings her luck, but then she loses it and tries to get another one. She follows Bob and ends up in the Land of Luck, which controls the flow of good and bad luck in the world. Sam and Bob try to get a lucky penny so Sam can help her friend Hazel get adopted and so Bob does not get into trouble. After some mishaps, Sam helps Bob out and tries to help Hazel by turning off the machine that distributes the bad luck. This backfires when the bad luck overflows and destroys all the luck. Sam and Bob fix things, however, by running to the pitch department where the residents have excess luck. They take it to Babe the dragon, who forges new lucky stones to set things right. Hazel is adopted and Bob stays with Sam, and they regularly spend time together while Sam embraces their luck.
