Minecraft Tutorial: Ceiling Lights With On/Off Switch
This tutorial will shows you how to properly make lights for your Minecraft home using redstone lamps. These lights can be manually powered on or off by a lever. This set up is great for houses, buildings such as the hotel I built, and other similar structures. You can also use this design for outdoor lighting if you like. The sandstone slab by the switch prevents rainwater from falling into your home while also allowing for a redstone signal to pass through. IMPORTANT: In order to connect the redstone to the lever, all you need to do is build down on the wall by one block in order to correctly level the redstone and lever.
