1) Reshaped wooden handle to prevent blisters and treated with linseed oil. He also burned his On3 logo into it.
2) Ground the spine of the blade to 90 degrees to be used for scraping.
3) Removed varnish off of blade and forced the patina using mustard.
4) Ground a portion of the blade closest to the handle and wrapped with 6' of paracord.
5) Re-profiled the blades edge to a more durable convex grind and sharpened to a razors edge.
Then, in this video Jason creates an inexpensive sheath out of PVC drain pipe.
