Lyrics:
When you are young you can’t understand it on your own. You have to be taught, one way or another. But, what if I could never understand, my world was always tattered. Reality. it was all subjective.

Am I a victim?
Alive with false hope
“Hey, may I help?”
“Well.” speak stop.

The cold, well, it will shatter through you.
What warmth can come will scar up the wounds.
Why should love be given? (No act’s truly selfless)
Living’s not so complex. (But was never simple)
Why do you stay?
Watch and play as we reach our dreams.
What’s eternity?

Now it’s 4:24. Rain above topples down. (These tear drops you wept. Why for us? Why today?)
New Message Fix the pain.
Take my love. Walk to me. (Oh, please be happy)
One (I want to help you)
Step (The angel you hear is not me!)

The dull stains, what have they all taught you?
Will there be anyone to love you?
Did you fend for yourself? (Hide for pride and safety)
Can you see what is gone? (Barred by hurt and worry)
Brother, can you come?
Feel the pain that’s within the breeze.
Come and spread your wings.

Now it’s 4:29. Clouds outside burn the sky. (No more dark. No sound. Where are you? What is there?)
Still air stops all the rain, no light passes you by. (Oh, no home to talk to?)
Good (Well, how are you?)
Night (Just call, for your sake. Why don’t you?)

All the time, has it really lost you?
Your heart burns, memories, they haunt you.
Quiet’s cold and crushing. (All the eyes, they hurt you.)
It’s the only comfort. (But the pain is phantom.)
Whatcha doing here? Come and sit by the flame with me, tell me ‘bout your dreams.
Now it’s 8:45. Feel the snow on the ground. (Where’s the pain? The cold, why’s it warm? Time is null)
While the rain washed it all, the flakes just piled on. (Do tell, were you happy?)
Stars (Will you let go?)
Fall (From now on you are forever)

Description:
I listened to this song a lot, even before making this video, and at some point I thought, "This sounds like it could be a good song with lyrics in it." So then I started imagining what it would be like. Now at this point I always see it as a man, on stage, with a jazz quartet, in a café, singing this song. He wears a fedora like hat and some stereotypical jazz musician clothing singing away captivating those in the café. He sings so well that if you didn't pay attention to the lyrics you would still be entertained. But those who were paying attention to what he was saying would be choked up by the saddening topic you are left to interpret. That's what I wanted to make the lyrics into but as I have no experience creating lyrics of my own I created something I would deem mediocre. I did try to take the experience I have from listening to the songs I do like that have lyrics and tried to use that but I still ended up with something that explains more than it should. I knew from the start that this wouldn't be a very good video but I have been wanting to post something and thought that something like this would be a simple enough video. Something you can watch and go, "Hmm", and go back to scrolling through YouTube. If you are reading this then you are not one of those that went back to the monotony of YouTube videos. Actually instead you decided to read this entire thing, for what ever reason, and I thank you for that. I know it's a stereotype at this point but I am glad to be heard. Also, I know the beginning the words fly by so fast that you can't really read them the first time around but that was what I could do. I didn't want to start at the very beginning of the video because then you would feel it came about too fast, more than it is now. I also couldn't start any later, while still trying to make the dialogue seem as if someone actually said it, because the intro of the song didn't have enough space for me to wait that long. Thank you for your time, have a nice life, all the best, yada yada, and don't expect too much from this YouTube channel. It's safe to turn on notifications because I really only post on a blue moon. If that changes then I should telegraph that well in a description of a or some of the videos that I post.
