What does a light pinkish noise sound like when mixed with deeper red and yellow noises? A deliciously deep and soothing Peach Noise, that's what.
It’s been a while since I created a 'fruit noise,' as I've been happily experimenting with conceptual noises. But I thought it was time to bring another healthy fruit into the recording studio and see if I could come up with something new.
By recording the gentle stroking of peach fuzz (hair?), I was able to produce a high pinkish/whitish sound—the gentle hiss you first hear in this video. Then, by capturing the sound of juice pouring and shaking (along with the trusty fabric scratching), I managed to create deeper red and yellow tones.
To me, the result is unlike anything I've done before: a lovely blend of peach-like tones, culminating in a soothing sleep sound designed to lull you into a peaceful sleep—and keep you there!
