Luciano, the messenger, here delivers one of his major hits. A homage to the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, Jah Rastafari.
This is the Jamaican release on Phillip Burrell's Xterminator label with the smooth dub version. The song was also released on Island records as a double-header with Your World And Mine, both produced by Fattis, and became a world-wide smash.
Although Luciano is a commited Rasta this gospel, roots song is one that appeals to a wide cross-section of religions which believe in the One God. Rastafarians, Christians, Muslims, Jews and many more can uphold this reggae hymn for their own religious purposes.
