Coherent | C+L-Band Transport Product Portfolio Demonstration at OFC 2024
Network operators are looking to expand transmission into the L-band, driving the demand for ultra-wideband products that cover both the C- and L-bands. Coherent combines vertically integrated technologies and materials to maximize performance and minimize costs with a full suite of products covering these bands. Key elements of C- and L-band transport systems - the ultrawide-band OCM, C+L-band EDFA, and twin 3x33 Flexgrid® C+L band wavelength selective switch (WSS) – were demonstrated live at OFC 2024, showcasing how our C+L Band transport products meet the increasing demand for the expanded transmission bandwidth in DCI, metro, and long-haul applications.
