Dark Souls III - 800 Souls/minute before first boss
So if you go to the first shrine you can get on the wall, you can do as I do in the video and make the dragon score you 800 souls in a little over a minute. This can be repeated as many times as you have arrows. The dragon may take 1-3 shots to provoke once at the courtyard but it will wipe it all out.
As an added bonus, a lot of the mobs in the area drop Embers, Rare Gems and the knight will drop pieces of the knight armor which can be equipped or sold.
This could help out those of you having difficulty with the start of the game so you can get a few extra levels. I wouldn't recommend doing this over and over as it will quickly take far too long to gather souls for leveling or items at a certain point.
