Buy a farm in Portugal or Spain?
Portugal is known to be a nice cheap country with happy people that speak English but I found the farms in the southern part more expensive than southern Spain. Fires, hippies and strong wind making Portugal less attractive for our health education farm.
Spain is a huge country with a diverse nature. You have to learn Spanish but the properties are cheaper and nicer.
