When you don’t speak the local language –which is my case here in Ukraine– getting a haircut can become a stressful event. It feels like a public performance where I don’t know my lines. I usually get a haircut every other week but this time I kept postponing it week after week until I finally decided to solve the problem for good. – No hair, no need for a barber!
I wouldn't say I have social anxiety, but I strongly dislike those situations where I, a foreigner who is not able to communicate in the local language, step into a barbershop and become the main character in the room.
Pros of going for this "military buzz":
✅ No need to perform in a barbershop
✅ I LOVE the fact that I don't need to spend any money in haircuts in the near future!😉
✅ I like using kinesio tape on my face at night. Now it's easier! No hair anywhere near the face!
✅ I do feel bonita!
Success!🥳
✍🏻Do you ever feel like going to a barbershop is more of an unpleasant chore than something relaxing you look forward to?✍🏻
